We are looking for 25+ trunkers [people to hand-out candy from their trunk] that can participate and be part of this fun event. If you are unfamiliar with Trunk-or-Treat, it's a one night event for children to come "trick or treat" from trunk to trunk in a safe friendly environment. The fun designed car trunks, candy and costumes make a great treat for the children. Veritas United Church of Christ will be providing free hot dogs, popcorn, and hot chocolate to all participants, trunkers and attendees.

Why this Trunk or Treat Fall Fest?
Our goal is to have a minimum of 25 uniquely designed and decorated cars. The vision making our Trunk or Treat different from other Trunk or Treat events is not only is it our goal to provide safe, good quality family fun for all but we encourage nonprofits, social service agencies, government agencies, and other community groups to register to claim their free spot as a trunker in order to also handout informational resources to the adult attendees in addition to the candy for the children. Local businesses are also encouraged to claim their free spot as a trunker to also give candy to the children and provide informational resources and/or discount coupons to the adult attendees. No sales allowed at the event unless prior authorization given, only free candy and informational materials can be given out.
Veritas United Church of Christ is a social justice, community focused church that truly desires to be an asset to the community, helping to empower our neighbors and our community to be able to RISE UP!
